What a great way to start 2009!

What a great season we are having here at Poffie Girls. Girls are coming from everywhere to see the CoolBook dresses and the new 2009 Prom Gowns. They are fabulous and girls are loving them. The styles this year are the red carpet look and prints are real hot. We just had two successful trunk shows in bridal. New bridal gowns are arriving daily and they too are to die for. Prom Markets

Syble Latta owner of Poffie Girls and Vicki Jefferies, manager, recently attended 2009 prom markets in New York, Chicago and Atlanta. The latest in prom fashions include many prints especially animal prints. The new hot colors are yellow and purple along with all brights some which are accented with prints. The favorites were designs by Jovani and Paris by Tony Bowles.

New gowns are arriving daily.

From Poffie Girls humble beginnings evolved one of the Souths most successful full service bridal salons. Poffie Girls is located right off I-85, just minutes from Charlotte , in a beautiful 6,400 square foot plantation style home built in 1917.

Poffie What? What does the name Poffie Girls mean? Here at Poffie Girls we like to think the name means a commitment to excellence and style. The name actually originated from Sybles daughter’s pet name "Poffie girl". Her daughter was pinned with this name because of her graceful mannerisms and frilly dresses.

Our Brides: Poffie Girls prides itself in its ability to reach all brides through our large selection of styles and by carrying gowns for every budget. Our collections include some of the industries top designers and latest styles. Here at Poffie Girls we realize the need for destination gowns and we carry a large selection for brides who want something a little less formal.
